In a phone interview with International Business Times, Hickson dished about her experiences with stunts. Described by Hickson as “very emotionally driven,” Brianna isn’t exactly equipped to handle the end of days, and her portrayer might not be either. When the world starts coming to an end, the Copelands have to start fighting vicious supernatural creatures and disasters. At least it is for Brianna Copeland, the character Taylor Hickson plays on “Aftermath.” The 18-year-old stars in Syfy’s new apocalyptic family drama as a rebellious teenager. Honestly, the explanation of Cote de Pablo’s character is only moderately intriguing, but the overall Syfy series is a little more descriptive and makes it sound as if the stakes will be higher. However, Deadline reports that setbacks will keep things interesting, although they may keep the machine from reaching its full potential. At the start of the pilot, she’ll be working on the prototype for a new machine that could change life as we know it (thus the title). The character will be a mom of two and an inventor.
